“NORDICBOARD, the new mono with revolutionary MONOLUTION binding technology.“ |

The 80s were too early a time to oust monoskis from the slopes, because the ride quality and handling of even those early models were efficient and unique in spite of the lack of engineered safety features. The ride gave rise to the young monoski scene found today in Germany, France and the USA. The NORDICBOARD is the new all-out monoboard that clearly sets itself apart from its predecessors through its revolutionary MONOLUTION binding concept and new board technology. Special care was taken to develop this board in terms of safety, handling, ease of use, and excellent ride and carving qualities. The NORDICBOARD is available to sporty individuals as well as to the young monoski scene. 1 2 |

Model 1: “eye” with Monolution technology
The “eye” model is the classic monoski. Its hip design coupled with monolution binding technology make for an “eye”-catching and unique snow racer.
Model 2: “The Nordicboarder” with Monolution technology
This model is built completely identically to the “eye” but is offered for a limited time at a special promotional price in order to launch this new technology on the slopes.
Technical Data: Length: 160 cm Midpoint Width: 190 mm End Width: 240 mm Curve Radius: 9.9 m

NEW: "Monolution Technology" 1 safety binding + 1 stopper = MONOLUTION
The following points support this new technology:
1) A high-performance “Tyrolia MOJO 15” safety binding (either a Tyrolia or a Fischer design) is used. 2) The shoe bindings are a measurably larger distance from each other than normal ski shoes; therefore, the power of the Nordicboard is ideally distributed and the force occurring on the individual binding is noticeably reduced. 3) No more falls because of faulty activation in the bindings. The problematic tipping quality of closely mounted bindings is solved by the Monolution technology’s indestructible reinforced resin plate firmly screwed on two secure clamp bindings. The lone safety binding only comes undone in extreme emergencies (releasing both legs) and can be comparatively more tightly adjusted than two safety bindings. (See chart below for set values)
Correct handling after falls where the binding is detached:
1) Open one clamp binding 2) Place the plate into the clamp bindings the way you place a ski boot into ski bindings 3) Step into the other clamp binding – finished
Advantages of the Monolution Technology
· Optimal security and easy on knee joints through the binding of both legs · Stop equipment on one side of board stops board immediately and horizontally to hillsides in cases when bindings are released thereby using an angle to brake · Adjusts to every shoe size and stance without tools · Excellent ride and carving qualities due to high capability
Binding Adjustment
Clamp Bindings:
Tilt binding direction middle, slide to desired position, position clamp binding and lock into place. The position of the clamp binding is not only fit to the shoe size but also to the stance (front/back). This positioning influences steering and control. Tip: If the board pitches or leans to a turn, adjust to a position farther forward. If the board is too stabile, adjust to a position farther backward.
Safety Binding:
The safety bindings are adjusted to body weight as defined in the following chart:
